Maxine Hawk is an AGPCNP-BC who works in collaboration with Dr. Jason Peter, D.O., to

provide quality, individualized pain management to a diverse population of patients. She also

provides pharmacological and nonpharmacological care via prescriptive authority, and provides

referrals to other healthcare providers and/or community services.

Maxine graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing with honors from Wayne State

University in 2015 and has over seven years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. She

received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors from Wayne State University in 1998,

and has over 25 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

In addition to Pain Management, Maxine has extensive experience in Primary

Care, Mental Health, Correctional Healthcare, Urgent Care, Occupational Health, Home

Healthcare and Emergency Care.
